The preconfigured ACS380 variable frequency drive comes in several variants ensuring seamless integration into machines and connecting perfectly to any automation system. Drive usability is enhanced with the built-in icon based user interface as well as other optional control panels. The Adaptive programming offers an easy alternative for simple programming needs. The ACS380 variable frequency drive is suitable for industries such as food and beverage, material handling and textile. Some typical constant torque applications include mixers, conveyors, cranes and other constant-torque applications.

The compact ACS380 comes in different frame
sizes (R0 to R3) and several variants (for both EMC
and connectivity use) providing easy installation
and commissioning. The drive is remarkably easy
to integrate into machine designs as the configured
variant of the drive has pre-configured fieldbus
protocols (EtherCAT, PROFIBUS, PROFINET,
CANopen). The standard variant of the drive
comes with extensive I/O and built-in Modbus RTU
protocol.

The ACS380 Drive is part of the All-Compatible drives from ABB and is designed to be technically compatible as well. The ACS380 has an intuitive control panel along side an icon-based menu for easy and smart commissioning of the drive.
