iVu and iVu Plus
The iVu Series Image Sensors bring the simplicity of a
photoelectric sensor and the intelligence of a vision sensor together to
provide inspection solutions that can be applied and supported right on the
factory floor. With intuitive functions for easy configuring and operating,
first-time users can have the Banner iVu Sensor up and running in minutes,
without training. Using the touch screen and intuitive interface, inspection
parameters are easily configured and quickly deployable without a PC.
The iVu Series Image Sensor includes three sensors in one
package—a match sensor that determines whether a pattern on a label or part
matches some reference pattern; an area sensor that detects whether a
particular feature (or features) is present or not; and an area sensor with
tools that adjust for motion.
The iVu Plus Sensor features four sensor types in one
package—a match sensor that determines whether a pattern on a label or part
matches some reference pattern; a sort sensor that can recognize and sort up to ten different patterns within
the same inspection; an area sensor that detects whether a particular feature
(or features) is present or not; and a blemish sensor that detects flaws on
parts.

To deploy the precise inspection capability where you need it, select from four
PresencePLUS P4 series vision sensors with dedicated functionality. Banner machine vision solutions are available
in standard resolution and high-resolution 1.3 megapixel models for more
detailed inspections, as well as sealed, IP68-rated models for rugged
industrial and washdown environments. P4 models are available in both in-line and
right-angle configurations.
