Advantech unveils the all new ProView Ethernet Switch. These SCADA manageable switches are convergence switches for process control and IT networking management. The ProView range of switches uses Modbus/TCP to communicate with the SCADA software and SNMP to communicate with the NMS (Networking Management System) at the same time, thereby allowing full read control over the devices either for control engineers or for IT. There are eight models in the ProView series be released in the first phase, the EKI-5525/I and EKI-5528/I are five and eight port 100 Mbit switches and the EKI-5725/I and EKI-5728/I are five and eight port Giga bit switches.

The eight models in the ProView series released in the first phase are the latest in a long line of popular industrial Din-Rail none PoE switches and there are more SKUs including none PoE, PoE, Fast Ethernet, Gigabit Ethernet, Din-Rail, and rack mount switch varieties coming up to the market with different configurations to meet different requirements in various applications.
